Quick and Dirty Boat Building Challenge 2027 Wooden Boat Festival
Ahoy there!
Calling all young builders and adventurers! The legendary Quick & Dirty Boat Building Challenge is on the lookout for teams of 2-4 and aged 9-12 to design, build, decorate, and race a boat at Constitution Dock, as part of the 2027 Australian Wooden Boat Festival on the 6-8th of Feb 2027.
No experience needed, just teamwork, creativity, and a willingness to have fun and possibly get wet (depending on how well you build your boat!)
With expert mentors on hand, kids learn hands-on problem-solving, make unforgettable memories, and compete for prizes like fastest boat or best decoration.
