Marine and Safety Tasmania provides a statewide schools program. For 25 years it has been collaborating with all levels of education working to embed a recreational boating safety culture targeting children and young people and families. 

Typically in a college and high school outdoor ed/ HPE setting a MAST employee comes into your school and presents to classes.

Sessions or presentations by MAST guest presenters are a power point and extensive hands-on show and tell of safety equipment. While presentations are a boating orientated kayaking is covered and much information and much of the safety equipment bought in are relevant to a wider variety of water recreational pursuits.
